Bakewell Monday Market
Our award-winning Bakewell stall market will reopen on Monday 22 June, with stall numbers reduced to a maximum of 90 to enable social distancing measures to be introduced, including a one-way configuration for shoppers.
The market's opening hours will be reduced from 9.30 am to 2 pm while the coronavirus crisis continues.

Monday in Bakewell means Market Day and the town bustles with cafes, pubs, delis and shops,all benefiting from the extra footfall the market attracts. Come along and shop on this traditional market where you can find something for everyone with the diverse range of products on the stalls located on Market Street and Granby Road in the heart of Bakewell's Town Centre. We have around 140 stalls and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Our thriving award winning market has bucked the trend and continues to contribute to tourism and the local economy. It is the only market in the Peak District National Park, it attracts not only local people but coach parties and tourists from all over, including those from overseas, held each Monday throughout the year including Bank Holidays.
