Bakewell Food Festival
The ever popular Bakewell Food Festival attracting thousands of visitors each year will once again be held around the streets of the beautiful and historic Peak District riverside market town. Bakewell's wealth of shops, pubs and cafes will be open as normal and craft and gift fairs will be held in the Town Hall, Brigade Hall and Medway centre.

Bakewell Food Festival returns on the 29th & 30th of April 2023 an features around 100 stalls, gazebos and trailers ready to serve you delicious dishes, drinks and more goodies to take home with you too. Not forgetting the wonderful selection of gifts, crafts and any other reason to treat yourself or somebody else.
We are proud to showcase local businesses from in and around our gorgeous peak district, welcoming visitors of all ages to feast your eyes upon the fantastic products on offer. Children’s fair rides, local DJ and more entertainment to amaze you throughout the weekend.

Also happening in town over the weekend are Craft and gifts in the Town Hall, the Scout Hut and the Medway Centre.
The Old house museum will be open on the Saturday and the Farmers market will be held in the Agricultural Business Centre on the Saturday till 2pm.
Entertainment
Ian McCoy, the magician who has a world wide reputation will be attending the festival and performing some mind blowing magic.
There will be a local DJ during the weekend and also look out for Rachels Magical Entertainment with Black Widow Rapunzel, Anna and a supporting mascot.

Travelling
The roads into Bakewell can become quite congested at certain times due to the shear volume of people attending this event, to help alleviate this, please consider traveling by public transport.

If you are travelling by car, parking is off Agricultural Way DE45 1AH
