~ A Quintessential English Christmas Market ~
The Bakewell Christmas Market 2023 will be held on Market Street, Granby Road and Riverside Crescent and welcomes visitors, friends and families to our very own quintessential Christmas Market. This is a free event to attend, with some traders from our famous Monday market, traders from the town and also the Peak District and Derbyshire. Our Christmas market this year will host around 100 stalls and gazebos.
A huge variety of stalls to browse, there will be something for everybody also look out for Rachael and her Disney characters, Stitch, Minnie and Mickey Mouse and Cindy-Lou Who.
Put the magic in magical, make everyone’s faces shine bright, creating memories to last forever.
At this years Bakewell Christmas Market there is much to see including:
Home & garden decor, clothing & accessories, handmade home fragrances, plants & accessories, cards & stationary, toys and figurines
Children's books, novelty gifts, crystals, handmade blankets & soft furnishings, succulent plants.
Dog accessories, handmade gifts and crafts, dog food& treats, charity stalls.
Bakewell tarts, spirits and liquor& liqueurs, jams, chutneys & condiments.
And of course delicious street food:
Hot chocolate & coffee, mulled wine, pies, donuts/waffles/crepes, Mac n cheese, smokehouse, bar and gourmet scotch eggs.
Cakes and traybakes, burgers & hot dogs, pizza, artisan chocolate, chimney cakes, sweets, curries & kebabs.
Cheeses, beer, cookies & fudge & pastries, jacket potatoes, grilled cheese & halloumi burgers.

Dales Fairs Craft and Gift Events will be in the Town Hall over the weekend.
We are really looking forward to being part of the Bakewell Christmas Weekend on Sat/Sun. We will be in the Town Hall and will be open from 10am - 4.30pm each day, with some fantastic stalls and Christmas Gift ideas! Come along and enjoy the fun of Christmas in Bakewell.

Car parking in and around Bakewell town centre and further car and coach parking is available at the Agricultural Business Centre, Agricultural Way, Bakewell, DE45 1AQ
Coach parking is in front of the Agricultural Business Centre with additional coach parking at the rear of this building. The District Council does not operate a policy of booking coaches in. For all car parking information see Derbyshire Dales District Council website.

The roads into Bakewell can become quite congested at certain times due to the shear volume of people attending this event, to help alleviate this, please consider traveling by public transport.
