~ A Quintessential English Christmas Market ~
Bakewell Christmas Market weekend will be held on Market Street, Granby Road and Riverside Crescent and welcomes visitors, friends and families to our very own quintessential Christmas Market. This is a free event to attend, with some traders from our famous Monday market, traders from the town and from the Peak District and Derbyshire. Our Christmas market this year will host around 100 stalls and gazebos.
We are proudly supporting British Legion Riders displaying their motorbikes on Bridge Street, Age UK Bakewell Day Centre, Helens Trust and Weston Park Hospital will also have charity stalls on the market.
There will be plenty of mulled wine to keep you warm, entertainment, decorations, baubles, lights, festive gifts and a varied selection of stalls for everyone will get us in the festive mood.

Rachel performing songs from the Frozen, other characters to look out for include Elf on a shelf, Minnie and Mickey and be very aware, watch out for............. The Grinch!!

Car parking in and around Bakewell town centre and further car and coach parking is available at the Agricultural Business Centre, Agricultural Way, Bakewell, DE45 1AQ
Coach parking is in front of the Agricultural Business Centre with additional coach parking at the rear of this building. The District Council does not operate a policy of booking coaches in. For all car parking information see Derbyshire Dales District Council website.
Fancy a weekend mini break. Bakewell offers hotels, pubs, B & B's and don’t forget to come back and visit Bakewell's famous Monday Market, every Monday on Market Street and Granby Road with around 120 plus stalls where you will find something for everyone.

The roads into Bakewell can become quite congested at certain times due to the shear volume of people attending this event, to help alleviate this, please consider traveling by public transport.
