On Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th April, the beautiful, historic market town of Bakewell, will again be celebrating the wealth of local produce and its excellence in the rural areas of the UK. This Peak District town will feature over 50 food and drink related stalls and there will be a tempting 'tasting trail' to help you explore the streets and all that's on offer.

Exciting news for this year is that Bakewell based Hartington School of food will feature Great British Bake Off's 'star' baker, Howard Middleton , who will be demonstrating his cookery and baking skills all day Sunday. He will be baking madeleines and stilton and walnut biscuits as well as taking part in a Q&A session about Bake Off and signing copies of his Gluten Free Baking Book.

Bakewell's wealth of shops, pubs and cafes will be open as normal, plus on the Saturday the regular Farmers Market will also take place in the Agricultural Centre.
