Doggy Dancing at the Old House Museum

Heelwork to Music – Dancing Duo Success

Saturday 22nd April 2017

Bakewell Museum are delighted to announce a very special event. Local, Derbyshire Duo, Karen Sykes and Kath Hardman are absolute masters in the world of canine training of Heelwork to Music – HTM – doggy dancing.  They have perfected their incredible training skills over a number of years.  Winners at Crufts, European and World championships the duo are also international judges and teachers.  Their training techniques have travelled as far as Australia, Japan. Russia and Israel.

Anita Spencer manager at the Old House said “ We are so excited to have Karen and Kath here with us on the 22nd.  Their audience can expect an absolute masterclass and a chance to have-a-go plus a dancing demo if the weather is kind to us.  A real family event”

The performance is FREE of charge but tickets are restricted due to space so please contact the museum to reserve seats on 01629 813642.  There are two sesions at 12noon and 2pm.

Anita said “ Kath and Karen are heading to the European championships this summer and we will be passing a donation bucket around to help them get there”.
