Bakewell Monday Market

Held every Monday
Bakewell Town Centre

One of the largest outdoor markets in the Peak District, Bakewell Monday market occupies two sites in the town centre with approximately 100 stall holders, many of whom regularly attend.

The charter for the market was granted in 1330 in the third year of King Edward 111's reign.

Bakewell Monday market is well supported and transforms the town each week. On offer are a vast variety of stalls selling almost anything you can think of:-
fish, pots, pans, clothes, cards, haberdashery, hardware, antiques, collectables, clothes, bed linen, shoes, fruit & veg, freshly baked bread, food stalls, flowers, jewellery, wool, toys and hot food stands and much more....

A well earned bite to eat from one of the regular traders.

Markets have a character and atmosphere that makes them a unique shopping experience - this outdoor market has something to please everyone.  So if you want the finest and freshest foods, a unique gift, home furnishings, fashion or simply a refreshing snack there's no better place than Bakewell stall market.
