A Quintessential English Christmas Market

80 plus stalls of seasonal food wine gifts crafts etc. many of which are from our beautiful Peak District will see the start of this popular weekend on the Market Place and around town including Riverside Crescent, and Granby Road.


Bring your friends and family to the beautiful Peak District Town of Bakewell and enjoy a weekend ofseasonal entertainment over the weekend. Our quintessential English Christmas Market will feature some traders from our famous Bakewell Monday market alongside a mouth watering selection of speciality festive foods and wines from the Peak District, arts and crafts, gifts for all the family and much more. We are sure you will be spoiled for choice. We have family entertainment during the weekend, at dusk our Saturday Christmas Tree Light Switch on in Bath Gardens and a wonderful selection of independent shops, cafes, delis, pubs etc. So come along and join in the festivities of the Bakewell Christmas Weekend and see what other surprises Santa has in store!

Hot chestnuts, pulled pork, burgers, sausages, vegetarian, choccy churros,  mulled wine, liqueur coffees, mince pies, brownies, cakes, gin, wines, beers, Christmas wreaths just to name a few of our specialities from the Peak District and Derbyshire

Entertainment:

The entertainment line up in the entertainment gazebos will include on Saturday 25th November starting from 10.00 a.m. Bakewell School Bands, Bakewell Church Choirs, Harpist and from 3.00 onwards, and also attending the Christmas Tree Light Switch on in Bath Gardens at 4.45, Rachels Magical Entertainment wtih Disney's  Elsa (Frozen) and Chase (Paw Patrol) singing Christmas songs and entertaining the children.  On Sunday 26th November we have brass bands, Kaleidoscope Choir, Buxton Billerettes and Disney's Elsa from Frozen will perform from 3.00 onwards.
